Samah Nouri Al-Hajji – TASTAKEL, Cohort 14
I studied at the Faculty of Law at the University of Aleppo, and my journey began with the start of the Syrian revolution, where I worked as a field activist in humanitarian relief until 2020. Due to persecution by the former regime, I was forced to move to Turkey. After the blessed liberation of Syria, I returned home—back to my city, Latakia, Syria, a place that holds memories, strength, and a deep part of who I am.
I extend my sincere gratitude to TASTAKEL, which empowered me to face challenges with deeper understanding and greater maturity, and became a turning point in my personal and professional growth. I also greatly benefited from the Transitional Justice training, which deepened my understanding of justice pathways, peacebuilding, and their impact on our communities.
Together, we contribute to building a new and strong Syria.
